OT.....RUBIN Just heard Treasury Secretary Rubin's opening remarks where he stated a desire to aggressively attack abuses in the Corporate tax shelter market.. that too many corporations were not paying their fair share....A play comes to mind...GE is huge in this corporate tax shelter area..its the reason GE Capital exists..to arbitrage GE corporate's tax liability.. GE is also in the top 3 weighted stock in the S&P 500.. A few GE LEAP puts might not be a bad idea going forward if you feel the market in general could be vulnerable and/or GE specifically on the 'corporate tax shelter' angle..Just some thoughts..GE @ 101 1/2.. Melinda: Good luck "getting even". I know the feeling. Am still holding PRFM and entered a sell limit this morning at 7.5, and of course, as I did, it dropped hard. Trade: sold 1600 NAVR at 16 9/16- in at 13. have sell limit in to sell 435 shares NAVR at 16 11/16 (buy price) and will keep 500 shares. I am feeling really uneasy about the market. I believe that the market is headed for a major correction. As a result of my "queasiness", I have sold most of NAVR. I think it will fall hard on Mon. if not before if no announcement or negative announcement. I am feeling comfortable if I have to jump in at a higher price on an announcement. (Also have Anthony's thread on the watch list to scan...) MMK
