NIN- Nine West Group investigation (SEC probe) ended with no action taken by the Feds. Halted trading this AM...resumed up 1 5/8, upgraded by Merrill Lynch. SF

Jenna, Do you have the earnings date for #4? Also, you can't trust the yahoo earnings calendar - they have CMED listed for tomorrow and they came out yesterday.

<<alert>> LIN, CTV always a unique challenge to find good trades on a down day. EWBX was my favorite because it was more of a surprise than CNET. EWBX was strengthening all day and I picked up my usual position at 46 now trading at 50 3/4. CTV...from my special list for SI now popping as well. LIN.. an alternate earnings play kicking in nicely. I've been watching this all day. An exciting end to an exciting day: both earnings plays for subscribrs and the few we reserved for non-subscribers all doing well (RLR, CTV,USF) It's never over till the fat lady (nasdaq) sings.. and she's singing now.
