Hi Kenny,
Pentium III has been announced last month, and will succeed
Pentium II. Pentium III will for the time being drop into the
Pentium II slot.
RDRAM comes with the Caminio chip set in mid 99'. Caminio is
a revised hardware surrounding the PIII, which will substantially enhance its performance. This will mean a change of motherboard
design. In other words, the Caminio chip set will not be compatible with a current PII motherboard. Got it?
