Now that the US has committed itself to a larger and longer term force to contain Saddam, there's not much reason to keep the sanctions in place. As the opportunities avail, the US launches strikes in hopes of displacing Saddam. The downside is that the none of the opposition groups is really strong enough to rule Iraq as indicated from a Senate meeting on Iraq opposition groups.

<<The only mass genocide that would be approved by the general public would be the mass genocide of conservatives!>>

Real funny and typical. Just like when bc is exposed for being a lying, immoral, unprincipled creep you want to talk about some other president or Star or something as if that makes bill clinton an angel.

In the face the unnecessary mass genocide of innocent children you want to talk about Saddam Hussein. He is evil, no arguement. That doesn't have anything to do with or change the fact that the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent children are on the bloody hands of clinton. The only thing that has ever effected Saddam is the military strategy, which was bill clinton can really take NO credit for.
