CSCO will most likely beat consensus estimates by .01 For the last 4 quarters, CSCO has beat the consensus by .01 The 3 quarters before that CSCO matched the consensus. I am a CSCO stockholder because CSCO does not suprise its shareholders. Many investors like transparency and CSCO provides it. CSCO has been growing earnings at more than 46% a year. Going forward CSCO is expected to grow earnings at 29% a year. CSCO will, most likely, come in at .36

I'll be upfront with everyone and say I'm not a CSCO holder although it definitely is a shoulda, woulda, coulda for me.... I work in the networking industry and know quite a few CSCO engineers... I know as of 3 weeks ago they were very scared about making this quarter. But, they did some things like stuffing channels and politically stealing deals (typical CSCO) and made the quarter. Now for all you CSCO bigots who don't know squat about their products and spew ego venom because you're riding the freight train, I think the comments about me are unnecessary. I would think I've forgotten more about networking products than most of you will ever know. Cisco is not the best, but then neither is Windows... marketing and a charismatic leader are just as important if not more important. trust me, this freight train will slow, probably never stop and all you people who just throw darts at contrarian views will get yours... DW
