MediaX Goes Live With amuZnet.com

CULVER CITY, Calif., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- MediaX
Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: MXMX - news) today
announced that its www.amuZnet.com retail music site is now
officially on-line and open for business. The site offers over
265,000 titles of pre-recorded music on CD, video and DVD
from every major record label and over 4,000 independent
music labels.

CDs on amuZnet.com are aggressively priced to compare
favorably with other sites and the site is waiving standard
shipping and handling charges during the ''Grand Opening''
period, through March 1, 1999. Orders placed are processed
in real time while customers are on the site and the availability
of product for immediate shipping is displayed instantly during
the order process. The customer's credit card is only billed
upon actual shipment of product. amuZnet.com is linked to
MediaX's network of celebrity sites such as
www.rodstewartlive.com.

This first launch phase of amuZnet.com will feature an
uncomplicated and user-friendly interface, while the company
lays the foundation for a completely revolutionary way to buy
music. Customer feedback and reporting is encouraged during
this initial launching period and will help in building the next
phases of the site. Additional phases will culminate into a
proprietary, highly confidential, Music Agent interface that will
set a new standard in the industry.

amuZnet.com will be promoted with a number of highly visible
web sites and Internet and traditional marketing events
including strategic tie-ins with other large Internet companies.
The first set of events will be announced within the next few
days.

The Company expects to generate significant revenues off its
e-commerce site during the 1st and 2nd quarter of 1999 and
is aggressively expanding its e-commerce model and network
of celebrity web sites. The company plans to develop
amuZnet.com into one of the most entertaining and
information-rich experiences on the Internet today. Initial
contracts to expand MediaX's e-commerce efforts into
broadband media have already been signed and projects are
currently in the development stages.

The funny thing about this release is that the amuZnet.com
is barely "0n-line" with one web page!!!! Another interesting
thing is that for a web site development company, MXMX, is
pretty slow to update their own website. I'm not too
impressed with this company, maybe because I've lost about $10K.
I'm still holding some shares in hopes they can find their niche.
The direction they are going certainly does look promising.
Hopefully, they'll be another amazon.com for CDs.
