Yousef,

I've been very impressed with Intel's move up the speed curve. A year ago, most of the parts were reported to test at 450 Mhz. Today, the center of the yield curve is squarely at 450 MHz.

And soon they will be sampling the mighty Merced, with the backside power supply. Pretty scary stuff.

Yousef,
What's your point? Tht AMD didn't ramp to 450 without a hitch?

No, they didn't and 450 by year end was negated. The problem was somewhat masked by the shear number of 400s produced in the 4th QTR.
