Hi teevee:

Lots of this has been said before but this is for the small guys who bought into the Winspear story in Oct-Dec 1998 on the runup from $ 2.00 to $ 4.80 (the holiday wave) and are clearly making a big mistake now by selling at the bottom before the next ride up. I know many of these guys personally in my neck of the woods, and if my area is anything like the rest of the country, there are thousands of these guys and gals out there.

They got in based on the new pictures Winspear posted on their website and broker recommendations. Its easy to look at that Winspear bullseye picture and project the existing MRDI Canada study to give you a resource of over 20 million tonnes and get a stockprice worth a large multiple of the existing stock price.

Then they watched the price slowly dip from $4.80 to $3.00 and read the crap from Kaiser and Bishop and the B.S. from the "Bears of Winspear gang" (which looks to me like the rantings of one deranged multipersonality individual with a grudge against Winspear) and they look at what Winspear stock did in the tumble of 1997 and they conclude they must get out at all costs. Yes, there are thousands of people out there basing their investment decisions on SI chats and nothing else. Newsletter writers recommendations, broker recommendations and much more come from our postings. We are the future of the investment industry as the internet becomes a way of life. Don't believe me?, use a search engine to find Winspear Resources and see how many SI chat hits come up.

Anyways, time to soothe some of these peoples concerns.

Randy Turners reputation amongst geologists and mining company execs as a serious explorer, and his links to companies involved in mining, drilling etc., is his bread and butter. To damage this reputation would destroy his ability to make money in his chosen occupation, and that reputation is worth millions of dollars to him. It would be enormously stupid of him to risk this reputation for what he might make by salting Winspear. Any money he made would go to his lawyers, to protect him from the resulting lawsuits. Look at Walsh and Bre-X, like he is really enjoying his money 6 feet under the ground.

As Walt says, the most important thing in mining after experience, training and hard work is luck. Randy is covered in it after finding Snap Lake. The indicator mineral train coming from Snap contains those crystal minerals that only come from high grade diamond deposits full of super quality, and hence highly prized and expensive to own diamonds. The mineral train is second to none in Canada, and one of the best ever found in the world. Add to that, Winspear takes out two tweeny, weeny bulk samples and out pops 3 big choker diamonds of superb quality and a bunch of macros that kept De Beers talking through the roundup conference in Vancouver (and Aber too). I know, I sat beside some of these guys at the diamond luncheon at that conference. The three big chokers were no statiscal fluke. They were pulled up because they are all over the place. Diamond populations throughout the samplings are consistent indicating the sheets were well mixed up when emplacement occurred. There is no reason for the leading edge of a sheet to be the only place where big chokers occur, they are everywhere.

De Beers execs were doing their best to pretend they weren't all that interested in Winspear but their enthusiasm was written in their body language when they are in the same room together - .Trev saw it too.
The De Beers execs are on a first name buddy-buddy basis with RT and its clear to this observer that a deal is in the works pending the bulk sample results. Its a good thing Pattison and others are on board. This ensures that we won't be subjected to the kind of B.S. that Barrick is trying on Arp, an end run low ball bid, to scoop up the diamond find of the century. The money in Winspear is too smart! They must give us a fair deal!

The last chance to buy in this low end of the range is now, the bulk samples will pull out more big chunkers and the market will freak. One minute $3.00, the next minute $10.00 and climbing, there will be no chance to climb on board in between. Get in now and hold is a no brainer here. The rumblings amongst the brokers is getting louder and louder - Cannacord and Yorkton have been accumulating under $3.40 for the last month, this is a screaming buy!

Sorry but I have another question. Can you or anyone

state whether the 22 diamonds over one carat in size were

of gem quality? Seems like the value of these stones are

far less than the three largest and was wondering if someone

had enough detail to explain.

TIA

Teevee, You notice who knocks the paper down (Greenslime). But what's interesting is that Canaccord, RBC and Levesque are there to sweep it up. When Greenslime knocks, the Trio puts up decent bids. This all happens in seconds.

Very, very Interesting.
