CommonPlaces Update

I get numerous calls throughout the day, many from NETS investors, so I thought
I'd give everyone here an update on CommonPlaces. (BTW, this is all public
information)

We'll announce the site the week of 2/13 - 2/17 at the NACA show in Nashville
which is attended by 2,000 college representatives. (If you're in Nashville, come
by and see our booth.) We'll open the site to the world first week of March with a
full-blown roll-out in August to a couple hundred colleges, reaching millions of
students with our brand.

Over the next couple of months, we'll be introducing the most dynamic and
sophisticated advertising system in the Internet industry, that finally brings the
promise of one-to-one marketing via the net to fruition. For instance, when a
student starts looking for information on a product, an advertiser can target that
student with an ad. And even better yet, they can do so by age, gender, buying
habits, interest, hometown, etc. So a company like FUBU could target all male,
minority students who attend inner city colleges with ads that can link the student to
the retailer closest their school. This is way beyond anything we ever did at Lycos.
You can view the media kit at the www.CommonPlaces.com web site.

I'll log back in at NACA and give you an update as to how it's being received in
the college community.
