Yes, Jon charged $30.00 extra to check mobo/cpu and mem and set it to 450 MHz @ 2.0v. These are the only components I bought. My thoughts are he only checked to see if they were compatible. Doubt if he checked each individual port/slot. Not sure tho'. Otherwise I'm sure he would have caught the bad printer port.

For $30 to build & check is the way to go. Hope you are getting close to top of list. Know you will be pleased.

I keep saying I have 2 17" monitors. I should say 15" not 17".

Regards, /jw

Downloaded updated driver for StealthII S220, installed card in PCI slot 1, loaded and configured OK. Mouse scrolls smoothly from monitor to monitor, double click on Diamond in sys try, select 1 or 2. In small monitor(2), left click on blank desktop, program menu bar on left pops on, click on programs, netscape, communicator and it opens another page in Right (#1) monitor.

Can someone clue me how to open a page in in left(#2) monitor?

TIA

Regards, /jw

Spots, a follow up on my bad printer port to Jon,

(jw)= Do you check each individual port/slot on a board when requested to check board?

(Jon)= No, we dont do testing of those. Usually the parallel printer port is sometimes broken, so thats a bit typical of ABIT.

(jw)= Suppose I could live with it since installing ISA printer card. Just lost 1 slot.

(Jon)= I could try to see if I can get an advance replacement for you.

Jon, I would be most appreciative if you could, send to me and I'll return old one Priority mail pronto.
Actually I've lost 2 slots. By the offsetting mounting brackets between ISA and PCI cannot access #5 PCI with
printer port in #1 ISA. Wonder why the POWERS TO BE couldn't space the ISA & PCI slots about 1" apart to do
away with the overlapping? Means case/mobo to be 1" taller and 8/9 slot in case. Oh well!
