d Providing the economy doesn't tank in the next 18 months or so, I expect Gore to run largely on the strength of Clinton's record. Obviously, the Pres. carries some baggage, but I expect Al to offer some kind of disapproval of BC's personal failures and ascribe the rest to attacks by a partisan opposition. Think Clinton-without-the-foibles...and there's no reason to think that's not a decent strategy. ian
