TA looks as though you and I have read many of the same books. My thinking patterns are very similar to your own.

As far as AOL is concerned, I agree with your assessment of the support price. It is somewhere around the 50dma. You know.......I look back at the performance of this stock over the last year and see a near 7 fold return for anyone that just bought it and hung on. I have a hard time making myself do anything other than just that with AOL. We have had many $10 to $20 rises over the last few months and I would hate to miss out. I do however like to trade the smaller ones based on MACD, Stochs, RSI ect.

Tunica:

Ive heard that after the announcement of a stock split,it will usually gain 10 to 15% just days prior to the actual split.
AOL announced the split 1/26. We were @154 and rose to 175 3/4 by 1/28. My question is: Was that 22 points the gain expected, or can we hope to see an additional bump somewhere around Feb.18th?
Thanks for your excellent input in the past.

Jim
