It is always a question of priorities, and if the gentleman you refer to were a libertarian, it would be especially so, since libertarians think that we should exit NATO and other security commitments. Anyway, putting forth the lone view of a deficit fundamentalist doesn't particularly give me pause.

By the way, Daniel, since it goes without saying that "that's (my) point of view", and since I can hardly be expected to be impressed because some guy thought the deficit was more important than defense readiness, perhaps you could address the specific points made.
