John Pitera: The Dow Utilities Theoretical Low peeked below the 200 day SMA yesterday, but it closed above. The Dow Utilities Actuals only penetrated the 200 day SMA today for the first time since Aug/Sept 98. The DJI finding support once again in the neighborhood of the 50 day SMA and the daily falling wedge upper descending trend line. Will they hold...time will tell! Regards, LG

OT - This is why I only listen to CNBC with half an ear ... "Immunex down sharply ... down 3 1/4" meanwhile the stock is a 160 dollar stock and that's only a %2 something decrease. I'm surprised everyone on CNBC isn't saying crash when the DOW is down 100 now... oh no - well I got my rant for the day over with LOL - Sean

John, try .tyx here equis.com and check out the bull flag on rates. also notice the failed head and shoulders pattern that started in late december when the CRB bottomed. Also notice that todays increase in rates was a gap across the downtrendline from april. Gold has moved quickly back up and is sitting right on stiff downtrend resistance, watch and see if we get a break soon. During sell-offs money has poured into bonds keeping rates down. What happened today? bb
