My view of ALSC:

ALSC currently has no viable product direction but holds potentially good investments in other businesses. The break-up value is much better than the stock price. However, for the company to spin off the values to its share-holders or allow a take-off/break-up is not going to happen - the founding Reddy brothers hold too big an equity stake. As such, ALSC's stock pric reflects just a holding company (I won't give too much for either the SRAM and DRAM businesses). The stock price will always trade at a discount relative to its holdings.

I intend to buy more for my IRA trading acct. The last trade was worth 50% in a couple months. I already have a large position in another account. Sooner or later ALSC is really going to take off again. Two IPOs possible this year, $35 million for the Maverick deal, improving pricing, new products. I really can't believe we can buy at these prices but I'm glad it's the case. The Reddys are going to score for themselves and the other shareholders. Not a doubt in my mind.
