Daniel,

Thanks, I'll look it over later. But I really can't see getting alarmed over it: all Clinton has to do is announce that he agrees to a Senate Finding of Fact, but not to having his mouth washed out with soap, and as soon as you can say "Rule of Law" the Republicans will announce that Fact Finding is out and mouth washing is in. (They will solemnly pronounce that it is their sad and reluctant constitutional duty. They will point out that the single registered Democrat in Henry Hyde's home district was himself against fact finding and for mouth washing last week, so all the complaints from the Democrats about it this week are lame. An article will appear in the NY Times detailing a trip by the House managers to a local soap factory in search of a particularly nasty lye-based brand of soap - this will be widely decried by conservatives as another dirty WH media spin operation to make them look like heartless slobs. etc.)

Regards,
John

That's his opinion. The case on perjury is overwhelming, the case on obstruction, more circumstantial, but strong nevertheless, IMO. Personally, I agree with him on the fact finding. It is not Constitutional and should not be contemplated. The Senate should vote up or down on acquital as the Constitution dictates. JLA
