Well that proves how much tech support knows. Here is what really happened:

From 2/1 about TSCO mm changing symbol:
"Thanks for alerting us. I purged it off all the servers about an hour ago,
but that routine is done in the background so it takes a long time;
especially since the market is open and lots of data is pouring through"

And from 2/2:
"Sorry, it appears that our "purge MM from all symbols" function is not working properly. The programmer is looking at it. "

The old data was gone as of 2/3

So tech support had you wasting time with local setting? Typical! You should know that the L2 data is not stored locally, any time you pull up a new symbol and see old data, that old data is coming off their servers.

No, the QA dept is not tech support. The qa dept is who finally contacted me after I put up a private web page so they could see the bugs I was finding in the beta 5.0 version. They dont seem to handle general tech support questions, most of which are simply stupid questions I am sure.
