Samy,

There was a huge article on them in The New York Times yesterday. Turns out they were a Wall Street darling for their novelty: They were consulting with Native American healers (before PC, we used to call them witch-doctors) for cures. Their first drug, which fought diarrhea in AIDS patients, was "ambushed" in the words of their chairwoman, by the FDA, and instead of fighting it out, they just closed up shop, as far as the drug biz is concerned, and shifted assets to the natural healing part of the biz, which if I read right, is still private. In plainspeak, the stockholders are getting a New Age reaming. It started today with the opening of the delisted shares. Not to be trifled with.
