Who would have believed the shares would go on sale for half price with improving fundamentals?

Two points: (a) a look at the 10 year chart of TECD will tell you 50% drop is a cyclical occurence. It also tells you that odds are that you can quadruple your investment in about 3 years if you buy now. (b) Whether or not a slow down in the rate of sales growth from 15%~25% to single digits and margin deterioration is an improvement in fundamentals is debatable. The market says that it is not.

BTW, the management said a lot more to the analysts than in the press release. Call a decent broker (like Morgan Stanley or Merril Lynch) and ask for the report if you are interested.
