left analysis of the 1st Amendment issues
I suppose that these people could pay some big $$$$ to some little country and they would let them post the web site from there.

My view from the left of what I would like to see is one of these internet format standards on rating of sites. The community could formulate a plan to allow ratings and designations to be cross checked. Then each subscriber could check or filter how their favorite interest group rated the site and decide for themselves (or let the filter decide for them) whether they wanted to see it. This would work best if ratings could be combined so that you may perhaps only allow sites approved by both the christian coalition and the aclu if you wanted rather tame fare. You may pick ratings by hustler for the latest in gossip.
