Frankly, I am steamed. I suspect that SCI institutional investors (they own about 95% of the stock) got an advance gander at disappointing Q-2 earnings, and cashed in their marbles, leaving us individual investors hanging out to dry....

And if Q-2 is not disappointing, then why is SCI taking so long about setting a date for announcing the results? Normally, should have reported by the end of January.

Not that I am paranoid or anything like that....

According to Zacks here is some estimates from 1/29/99

SCI: NATNBK MONT.SEC has reiterated estimate for fiscal year ending 06/99 of $2.25 on 01/29/99
SCI: NATNBK MONT.SEC has reiterated estimate for long term EPS growth of 25.00% per year on 01/29/99
SCI: NATNBK MONT.SEC has reiterated estimate for quarter ending 12/98 of $0.50 on 01/29/99

Wonder if anything has changed and who has credibility here?
We should see press releases from the analyst community shouldn't we?
