The difference is that IBM and the RBOCs will be using various custom wiring techniques,on new housing, etc. Tut's technology uses existing regular phone wires and allows multiple station networking over the one home line.
The Tut licensed products will sell, at retail for $49.95 to $99.95 per unit station. This is significantly less than what IBM and the RBOCs are planning.
