I am posting this message for Canadians looking Canadian data. Stay away from Stockwiz Data Service.

This is the letter I wrote to the company recently.

To whom it may concern:

I am a new subscriber to Stockwiz as of November 5, 1998. The main reason I signed up with your service was to get reliable quotes for Canadian equities. Up to January 18th I have been pleased with the service and have recommended your product to several of my colleagues. However to my disappointment the data for Canadian equities was not posted on January 18. It is now January 27th and the data has still not been posted to your site. The indicators I use for scanning are sensitive to missing data. If you are not planning to provide the data for Canadian equities for January 18th please cancel my subscription.

Sincerely
Keith Massey

I failed to mention in the letter that a large number of stocks are missing huge amounts of data which I had to fill in manually. In addition the Stockwiz program used to organize and export data is very slow.

Today I received the reply from Stockwiz

Keith,
The Canadian data for the 18th of January was lost for good.
Sorry about that. It was beyond our control.

Your cancellation for the StockWiz Daily Data service was
processed.

We are currently working on some great improvements
to our service. Do not forget to visit our web site at stockwiz.com
from time to time.

Thanks to trying out our service.

This is not how you treat customers!!!! I download the missing data for Jan 18 from Canada Stockwatch and fixed the volume manually. Why couldn't a site I pay for do the same thing? Between the brokers and the data provider I feel like I am taking it coming and going in Canada.

Best Regards
KEITH

Keith,

I own Metastock also and I am curious, what criteria did you come up with to find flags? I know what you mean though when you come up with a scan and about %20 are only the ones you are looking for ... mine are about 5%.
