Mike, the only comets I have seen on the ECD memory chip is from ECD annual reports and 10ks or stock holders meetings. In 1991 they were trying to sign a 10 million dollar research deal with the USSR. (ECD had finish a lot of research before.)I think that is about the time The USSR became Russia and the deal fell through.

At last stock holders meeting I asked to have information about the chip put on ECD internet site. I though I got a positive answer. I called late summer was told their would be something in two weeks on internet.

I have not been able to find one article written in press about ECD chip technology. ECD chip is suppose to be based on electrical phase change but I do not how it works other than the chip has up to 8 voltage states.

The idea of making chips without having to do it on silicon crystal wafers what can that do to lower costs?

If good functioning chips can be made that way the number of products (chip types) could be really great at low costs.

I need more information maybe I am misinformed about wafers ( any one comets).

I hope to get a lot of information from the shareholders meeting.

Allen

I guess that would mean a smaller lighter MiMH battery in the notebook? As the computer wouldn't need to refresh its memory banks so often.
