>>Close l08 5/8. Last trade in afterhours l08. Is this a problem? BTW, can you tell me what eom stands for?<<

I too am concerned about this. Investors who were looking for a wide margin by the earnings report found that Cisco was only better by one penny. I hope that this does not weight negatively on the techs tomorrow.
What I will be looking for is to see how the European and Asian markets fare over night. I would hope for the S+P futures to be positive when I check them in the morning. Right now they look horrific but it is too soon to tell.On the bright side it was most impressive to see the resilience in Dell's stock and for it to trade in the plus side for the close in heavy volume.
Best Wishes
for a good day tomorrow??

Frank

all other major techs have shown their hands. all beat expectations, most will split & msft blew things away. now there is one stock left to play out. thru 80 million shares the last 2 days dell has towered above the others--up 9 or so in an otherwise lukewarm market.

imho the downside risk posed by this stock between now and 2-15 is extremely limited as compared to the upside potential for a major inflow from the other techs AND, most especially, inet stocks.

again everyone knows what the others did. they all beat expectations in the same game. dell is the acknowledged leader in the game. ask what are they odds that they, and they alone, will disappoint.

it is time to break junior's piggy bank & put every red cent into dell
