I disagree. Problems with Embedded chips and FoxPro down at Joe Autobody are just as numerous problems as the mainframes.
Microsoft has a lot of DOS and Windoze 3.1 installations in real businesses that are about to get hosed.

I've heard that embedded systems.. the kind found in transportation, energy and manufacturing industries... are also going to be a y2k problem.

I've read that the average oil-drilling platform has 10,000 embedded systems. Someone has to go through and check these for the y2k bug.
