>>nobody in china can afford to buy a cellphone..they get them barter on the black market. ditto with charges.<<
Have you ever been to China? I had a short stay in China recently. I was surprised to see that almost everyone has a pager and MANY people(a lot more than I can see here) have cellphones.

Bonnie; Cell phones are cheap in China and all over the big cities,
more than here even. But they are also made there, and don't think
we are going to sell them computers either, ( they may have an
American name, but they will be made in China. )

Meanwhile Bill Gates is desperately trying to figure out how to make them pay for his software, at this time he is trying to convince
the Chinese government they are loosing money by not making the
people pay for his garbage..but before it's over they will be selling
us software. I have no doubt in time they will write something
better than windows. Don't underestimate the power of the
Chinese.

I've been saying for some time "look out" if the dollar falls,
it hasn't come home yet with all the news focus on Brazil and
such, but by God The Fed along with their "fraternity"
is going to kill us, that's the plan.
Every one thinks our stocks have gone sky high, but they haven't
stepped out of their bed room. Lay a dollar index over the stock
market index and you will see they are worth 30% less than what
the stock market index says they are, ( relative to before
Spam cut rates, and the secret deal was made to gut the dollar.

Were did it go, his buddies sold dollars & bought the YEN, and when this market corrects the next time they can buy it for pennies on the dollar, it's a money switching game, and GeernSpaM is the flunky
with the velvet tongue who helps to cover it up.
--------------------
Will he will tighten, as we are growing to fast...<G> unemployment
is not high enough. And inflation is coming ( caused by high wages)
no mention that inflation has to follow a de-valued currency.
No we did not de-value officially, it was done in closed chambers
ah for our own good.

The foreigners are laughing at us, they can see what we don't
or can't, it's like the betrayed wife is the last one to find
out. Look good at S. Korea, she went to hell in a hand basket
in our eyes long before her citizens found out about it.
They held their stocks, they gave gold to their Government,
but now that their money is not worth a crap, and the
stocks also fell, what are they to do. Our news media
for the most part avoids showing what's going on in Korea.
or Malasia..right now, the people are trying protest, but are
being beaten and tossed in jail, but that's not on the
news is it ?

<<nobody in china can afford to buy a cellphone>>

Are you joking or are you serious, Bonnie? I read a statistics, just the three big cities in China -- Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou -- have more cell phones than the whole US, although I don't remember the exact numbers. And I don't know where those cell phones were made. In a country like China, cell phones actually have more advantages and more convenient than regular phones. Some people in China's big cities are much more well-off than you realized, although the majority are still very poor by US standard.
