Bill, I am absolutely no authority on the gold industry.
But, in a conversation with a president of a gold mining company, he
mentioned that he was "collateralizing" his gold production. Basically
borrowing against his gold and taking all the gold off the market.
Now, it occurred to me that if all the miners could, on a daily basis
over time, have individual press releases and "say" that they were
either doing or considering this with long text reasons,
could that create a public shortage mind-set and possibly trigger
a wild price ride up for gold?
