PlanetClick Launches New Internet Stock Index

NEW YORK, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, PlanetClick, a new Internet directory (http://www.planetclick.com), launched the PlanetClick 500 stock index (http://www.planetclick.com/pc500/) which tracks the stock performance of companies with top rated web sites. The PlanetClick 500 is an index comprised of 500 publicly-traded companies from all over the world covering a range of industries.

"In today's world, most people believe that a high quality web presence is essential for any leading company," said Lance Laifer, President of PlanetClick. "The PlanetClick 500 index attempts to confirm this assumption by examining the stock performance of companies with acclaimed web sites listed in our directory."

The PlanetClick 500 companies each hosts one of the highest rated sites in their respective industry or PlanetClick category. The index is calculated using a methodology where all stock price movements are weighted equally. The level of the index as of the end of any day reflects the average daily price change of all 500 member stocks relative to the base period index value. Each month, PlanetClick will review its database of sites to update the 500 list to include those public companies with the best web sites on the judgment of PlanetClick users within the predetermined industry breakdown.

PlanetClick allows users to rate sites based on a multitude of web characteristics, including content, speed, design, and navigation. Users can evaluate sites that are already in the directory or add new ones. The PlanetClick rating system allows its users to help each other find the most relevant sites pertaining to a search.

The PlanetClick 500 companies in alphabetical order are: 24/7 Media, 3Com, 800-JR-Cigar, Abbott Laboratories, AC Nielsen, Action Performance, Acxiom, Adobe Systems, Advanced Micro Devices, Aeroflex, Aetna, Airtouch Communications, Alaska Air, Albany International, Alexander & Baldwin, All American Semiconductor, AlliedSignal, Amazon, AOL, America West Airlines, American Electric Power, American Express, American Greetings, American Home Products, American Stores, American Water Works, Ameritech, Ameritrade Holding, Amgen, Amtech Systems, Anheuser-Busch, Apollo Group, Apple, Archer-Daniels-Midland, Artisan Components, Ascend Communications, Ashland, Associates First Capital, At Home, AT&T, Atlantic Richfield, AutoDesk, Avery Dennison, Avis Rent A Car, Avon, B.F. Do not underestimate SIEB. The float is gone. Muriel proudly owns most all of the shares. Highly volatile...for experienced daytraders only. I am looking at getting out at 39 of shares I got them at 7 [relatives]. It would not surprise me if it ran higher than that today. . .SHORTS WANT IT BAD, so there may be a war, but I don't think they will find many shares to short. So it could surprise everyone.

PRFM is getting a double whammy. Shorts are on all boards and rooms yelling to short it. And long holders have their long anticipated CEO appearance on CNBC, so they will be looking for a pop to get out. Doubt it will pop after what it has been thru. Daytraders don't want it. Mark Haines has that look in his eyes that he gets before his face turns red in an interview. Shorts say closing at 7, no reason to disagree.

More later.

Daytraders Irc shows heavy PRFM selling and shorting now. Some squeeze 5 minutes after bell. CEO not until 9:45 evidently mis-stated on thread. Could see 12...but when CEO shows face 9:45 will turn down and that is it for the day, in my opinion. 9:44 turned down.
