blankmind,

Yes. The entire ERP sector seems to be confirming alot of people's expectations right now. I was of the mindset that I'd wait and see, but sure enough the slowdown is for real. PSFT hit the wall, and SAP isn't doing much better. Some of the other players like MANU and BAANF have absolutely fallen apart.

I recently reduced my exposure here expecting generally lower ERP stock prices going forward. May pick up some cheap stock in a few months. I am confident the strong companies in the group will revive. Sold PSFT at a slight loss, and made a bundle on ORCL. should've held ORCL in hindsight. Still long DSTM and ITWO.

Shane

blankmind,

Thanks for the response. I have heard some of the same comments: guilt by association with some perceived sector weakness.....at any rate, only 2 days left and we will know the answer (to their Q4 and the forecast/hopes for 1999).

I like the setup here. Very low price (around $10 on another nasty day for the Nasdaq) in combination with hitting (or exceeding)numbers makes for an attractive combination for WS to start properly valuing this company for 1999.

In addition, I find the company usually does a good to very good job on their conference calls with WS. Direct, aggressive and they speak to the future. They should also we able to reinforce that the class actions suits are &($&&*&$(&(* and without merit.

JDEC hasn't held it's own the past 5 trading days at all!

On top of making all time lows, most people are not really
sure where the bottom is for JDEC.
