Gee Whiz Jock,, It was oversold, but when a stock goes into a down trend it can stay oversold for quite a while. Now even you know that much. When both the 50 and the 200 day moving averages are south on any stock, that confirms a downtrend in any Wall St. book. So I buy at 7 and 1/16 on Friday and dump at 7 and 3/8's yesterday,,,,sighting I made a mistake and able to pull out with a small profit. Goodbye, time to move on.
