eight year contract to integrate technology systems for the Olympic
GAMES and replace IBM as the Olympics' ranking global technology sponsor. The British AUTONOMY develops technology to scan and to
categorize documents for the corporate intranets and websites. Autonomy has clients such as Scotland Yard to Rupert Murdoch newspapers. Autonomy is expected to be listed in NASDQ this year.
Qiagen, a dutch biotech company with products can be used in gene therapy, DNA sequencing and genomics. Germany's Brokat Infosystems has open high end Internet banking software. Irish Zergo has a range
of encryption software. Zergo signs alliance with US accounting giants such as KPMG and PriceWaterhouse Coopers to recommend this
security software to clients. British Colt Telecommunications soared
nearly fivefold last year. It builds and operates fiber optic lines for high volume business users. Dutch Equant has extensive high speed data network and continues to attract investors since its IPO last summer.
