OT - Dear Jesuit friend, I didn't get the connection with a false messiah, but here's one you may have heard. It's about a monk who took a vow of silence. After 10 years he was asked if there was anything he wanted to say. "Hard bed". Ten more years went by and again his superior offered him a chance to speak. "Bad food". Well, 10 more years of silence and finally another chance. "What would you like to say?" his superior asked. "I quit!" "Might as well", said the superior, "you've done nothing but complain since you got here!" Sort of reminds me of the AXC "no news" complainers. Should they have reported "we have no news again today?"
