BobbyB, yes there is a bit of an anchor...I am pretty confident that
the Y2K situation will make every one have Fear doubt and uncertainty
about technology and their reliance on it by this time next year.

I have spoken on a daily basis to the world-wide coordinator of Y2K
implemenation for one of the 10 biggest public companies in the US and
I am betting that Y2K will be the evil twin of the benefits of just
in time, world wide manufacturing and trade that has been the golden
idol that this bull market has fixated on.

Watch in 9 months, when there will be 6 Trillion Dollars in law suits
by innumerable law firms for Y2K deficiencies that will exist in
every technology sector...you have to believe that the lawyers are
ready and willing to sue for a piece of that payday.

This and the fracturing of trade and output will cast a pallor of
uncertainty and liability such as the Tobacco Industry on Most
technlogy Sectors. The Courts, Judges and Political Whims
will cause massive moves in stocks as the potential for bench rulings
and trials with unknowable outcomes cloud the future. and the Appellate Process Forgettaboutit......

At this point pull out your value line from 1984 and look at the PE's
that the high tech growth stocks had and try to see the future in the
past.

BobbyB I have confidence that all of us with our ear to the Ground
shall weather the storm...and some shall prosper.

Best Regards,

John

Many market tops, preceding good size corrections, are often accompanied by howling / barking dogs and running zombies. It is quite there yet, but the dogs are definitely barking and the zombies are stirring. Some of them are already doubling and tripling in one week time.
