Your basic intent is to attack messages on this thread that talk about the problem, and how extensive it will be. Your basic thrust is to crap on any message that doesn't jive with your worldview. Anyone reading this thread tonight for the first time would likely draw exactly that conclusion, i.e., that this character who hides behind a '60s TV mask and is referred to by others as "Cheeky" doesn't believe that there will be a Y2K problem. Think about it, sir (ggg), and go back and read your posts since you took on your latest disguise. What other conclusion is there?

And please explain to me why I heard what I did today in my meeting with John Koskinen et al.? Hint: he, too, is a "seemingly intelligent" person (and likely candidate for Secretary of Commerce or some other cabinet if Gore gets elected in 2000 -- assuming that the economy doesn't take a dump due to Y2K, the Asian flu, the Brazilian economic Carnival, the looming Euro real estate/bank meltdown ala our own S&L crisis, etc.).
