sounds like it's much like the U.S...many companies pay for them and write them off as business expenses...that makes sense to me... people do not pay for them out of personal incomes. I think this is the hardest thing to estimate in the statistics...in different parts of the world, many conveniences are paid for by employers and handled as business expenses or written off as depreciable property.
