Are we looking at 2 cents for the next quarter as First Call suggests? PD

Phil, 3dfx said they'd do the deal with STB in March so I fully suspect that the 2 cents is irrelevant. We should see a combined 3dfx/STB earnings report come March 31 and board level companies make it a practice not to break out costs. I don't think we'll ever really know how well 3dfx (the chip maker) did.

If I had to make a guess on how the combined company will do, I'd keep a steady eyeball on the Voodoo3 ship date. I would consider shipment before March 15th great news and after April 1 bad news. As 3dfx already said, Voodoo3 will make or break this quarter (a paraphrase).
