My take on the reduction: Positive. Not because the numbers are meaningful (250 full timers out of 11000) but because the street seems to want something done. Not that it helps the infrastructure business that much, but because that is the only area that the street has been able to find fault with. Management's quick response (planned before or after) is an effort to address the street. (mind you I do not agree with actions simply to address street concerns) The company is in a good overall position, this fine tuning can only help. Those workers and more will be back before June.
