Dorine,

Not meaning to do any name dropping here, but-just so you don't feel too bad-I was on Good Morning America and CNN (en masse) when I was involved with a couple of humanitarian missions to deeper Russia in '94 & '95. The woman who was group leader of the project was a college roommate and good friend of the CNN anchor in Moscow. This woman's husband was one of the film editors of Good Morning America and headed the ABC film crew that followed us around Kazan for three days. (Both were 35. Oy!)

Dorine and Herb. This type of editing happens ALL THE TIME and it's very disappointing to the people who are expecting to be seen. Good Morning America is a major revenue maker for ABC and to do a last minute edit in this world of computerized cutting and compression is not uncommon. I'm 110% sure that's what happened to you and Herb. An extra ($) commercial, John Mars & Venus, or the auctioned property from that abominable creep Simpson were probably judged more demographically appealing and therefore more newsworthy for a couple of extra minutes...and you got bumped.

I sure appreciated your efforts to help all of us as I'm sure Joe Murphy and the rest of us do too. DCTC will still fly without ABC. :-)

XOXOXOXOX

Onward,

George
