Lorne,

Where have I ever stated is was okay to manipulate markets??

I don't believe I ever have, nor have implied that it was proper.

There is a big difference between what I believe and how I invest.

If I see the big guys are shorting gold, I avoid it until I see the trend alter in a significant way. Just like I try not to buy a stock or any kind when I suspect that there is manipulation evident, to be specific a certain Y2K stock that is obviously under the control of market makers at this time.

I'm a pragmatist, Lorne. I don't have the means, and likely neither do you, to effect changes in the price of a global commodity. So I'll be damned if I decide to lose money based upon the principle that the market is manipulated and thus I have to spend my money fighting it.

I prefer to pick and choose my battles with more care.

Regards,

Ron
