Rick...Paying cash takes time as does waiting for a credit card transaction to clear. In the case of the latter, there is no way for either the credit card co. or the store to know if the holder of the card is legit. They can only know if the card itself is valid. Me? I'd rather avoid fraudulent charges to my account and, perhaps, have credit card co.'s charge a lower interest rate. Then there are the credit card applications themselves. But that's another story altogether. Jean
