LUV looks good here

Susan,

Front page article about them bringing discount fares to the NYC area in today's NY Times.

Historically, they return to their pre-split price (in the mid-30s) in a year to 18 mos, which is where they seem to be headed. Since I've been a shareholder I've been in a 2 for 1 and a 3 for 2 split. I've got an absolute long position, to which I tend to add when they drop below $20.

I've also done a few trades on them over the years, buying under $20 (at $18 or $19) and selling above (at $21 or $22). Not a flashy stock, not an Internet stock, just a damned dependable one, year after year after year. Put simply, their management works, and so does their business model, from which they do not deviate.
