I think the next couple of qtrs should be good too so I do not see why people are selling. Over the last 8 days or so the nasdaq has been strong minus yesterday, and yet QNTM is continuing to sink lower. When nasdaq retreats like yesterday it gives up $1 1/4 and today when it comes back strong it is up a tiny 1/4. Someone is selling into any strength they see. Hate to see where this stock would be if the market was weak. Even today when CEO says things are strong and margins are improving we barely stay positive - ES NO GOOOOOOD!!!

QNTM Chief Executive Michael Brown said he wants to
diversify his company with a further emphasis on the DLTtape and
ATLtape markets. Speaking at the NationsBanc Montgomery
Securities tech conference in San Francisco, Stead said he sees the
DLTtape industry growing 25 percent in the next year and the ATLtape
market, which was estimated at $2 billion in 1998, experiencing 40
percent growth over the next few years. Brown said diversifying the
business will help combat downturns in the disk-drive industry. In
addition, he said he sees growth and profitability in the server market.
As the disk-drive industry turns around, he said, the company is
targeting 20 percent gross margins and 10 percent or higher growth in
operating income.
