Firstly Alan Nobody want's a takeover, secondly it's only a rumor. As a generall rule dont buy stock's on rumors you will get yourself into trouble. By the way, how would any of us know? If we did and we told you it would be against SEC Regulations.

I haven't seen anything on msft/q buyout. What do you know?
The vol was soooo strong this am that it sucked on my monitor and I hit the enter key to buy more. I hope it isn't a rumor that has moved it, but the real 3G NEWS!!

There is not going to be a buyout. There is no reason to sell the company; it's about to break through with 3G. Moreover, Jacobs and Viterbi haven't taken the company as far as they want to before they entertain a buyout. The OEM deal will solve the infrastructure problems, and if the deal is with Ericy Asia and Europe will open like a clamshell. The stock would jump to 90 almost immediately and move to around $150 sometime later in the year as the market saw the kind of large revenues that would result. We long-term shareholders don't want a buyout, anyway.
