I have been having problems with orders on Etrade the past few days. It's cost me some money in missed orders.

John,
I'm sure you know this already but here is a little story I ran across today. Roddy...

E-TRADE UNDER FIRE: SOME DAY, WE'LL ALL TRADE THIS WAY?

PALO ALTO, Calif. (CBS.MW) -- Thousands of day traders will remember
this week for the way it laid bare the electronic pitfalls of buying
and selling stock online. While the folks over at E-Trade (EGRP)
appealed to clients to be patient and rely on its phone-in backup
system, infuriated investors were having none of it. At least one
outage on the E-Trade site lasted two hours and eventually affected
all of E-Trade's 676,000 accounts. Several smaller breakdowns over
three days ensued, and before long the whole affair had prompted many
clients to seek an alternative to the brokerage some derided as
C-Trade for "can't trade."
