Hey gang. Yes, I did say that THQI could fall to $20-21. I think that the 200 day MA should be supportive. I, for one, am not worried at all about THQI's 1999 outlook. It's likely to be much better than 1998, and the stock's price reflects none of that. Furthermore, the recent weakness is not uncommon for this time of year. These stocks are seen as seasonal, however stupid that view might be. If THQI's Q4 numbers are as good as some believe they are, the stock should do well in the near term (1-2 months). Also, any news about Thunder sell-through (either by THQ press release or by TRSTS or PC Data) will be favorable. Also, the launch of Nitro 64 should help. I think the market is also interested (as am I) to see the effect of the Rushware acquisition. It's probably slightly accretive, but should offer more benefits in cross-marketing and distribution opportunities for THQI. Also, the agreement to sell the Star Wars title this summer (from LucasArts) may be a bonus.

All in all, I'm not concerned. The market will eventually show THQI's true value. I've been saying this since 1996, and I have watched my shares increase 10-fold in price, over three years. I believe that the stock will more than double again this year. But why would Wall Street bid up THQI to fair value when it can double so many other stocks in a month? Once the Internut fad passes (and it will, mark my words), money will find its way into THQI.
