Xillix should eventually be positively affected by QLT's success. QLT has developed Photofrin, an extremely effective treatment for esophageal and lung cancer. The problem is Photofrin is most effective in the early stages of cancer. With current detection technology by the time the cancer is diagnosed Photofrin will have only a palliative effect. But by using the Life-lung or Life-GI technologies the cancer could be diagnosed at a much earlier stage, and thus be treatable by Photofrin.

It would be nice to receive a positive news, difficult time to get over 1.30 lately, it would help for sure in this case.
