Mr. Anthony DeCristofaro reports
Eastman Kodak Company is now selling the company's next generation
flagship photo software, PhotoSuite II from Kodak's website. The company has
the distinction of having one of the first non-Kodak branded photo software
titles sold on the Kodak site.
Kodak's distribution of PhotoSuite II is an important element of the company's
marketing program directed at home and business users of photography on
the web. PhotoSuite II's unique architecture affords users the ability to update
their software online via PhotoStreet.com. Users can easily download the
latest camera application programming interfaces, which allow users to
connect directly to the camera through the software without having to install
TWAIN drivers. The site also allows users to download new templates, tools,
and special effects, which keep the application current and their experience
fresh.
A true complement to Kodak digital imaging products, PhotoSuite II connects
directly with the Kodak DC220 and DC260 digital cameras, and supports
Kodak inkjet photo weight paper.
PhotoSuite II dominates the category with an unparalleled level of industry
accolades and awards. Since it was introduced in September of this year, the
product has garnered a PC Computing, 1998 most valuable product award; a
most compelling digital application product award, Lyra Research/Questra
Consulting; a PC Magazine technical excellence finalist; a C/Net editor's choice
award and a place on Windows Magazine's WinList.
