>>Now down 20% since yesterday on a analyst that thinks 3com may have some pricing pressure and drops his estimates by 2 cents...but maintains a buy..... Is this overdone or what ?<<

I'm now a firm believer of the "inefficient market" at work.

Where the hell are the analyst around letting folks know there's
an over reaction? If COMS is really valued at 20% less in
one day, then some analysts have made some really bad calls.

So, either, they've made some bad calls, or they should be out
defending their calls. Nah, they're just a bunch of followers
because they'll just make their pronouncements after the fact
to their advantage.

Well, Greenspan reports at around 2:15pm. Maybe, this will
bring some respite from the panic frenzy. I can't imagine a
rate-cut, but then heck, that would just mean that business is doing great.
