Casaubon - Herm and some others on this thread have better insight into the MM's tactics. try to watch the implied volatility of the options on VRTX and write your cc's when that volatility goes up some more. the FDA advisory committee usually is associated with a jump in volatility on the days just before the meeting or the day of the meeting; then volatility will likely go back down for awhile. price may not always go in same direction as volatility. good luck with this! dz
